NIkon D60 Series

Nikon D60 digital camera is the successor to the previous Nikon D40x. Some things that were developed since Nikon D40x is automatic image sensor cleaning, and a few other things. This camera has a resolution of 10 megapixels, which can capture continuous images (without stopping at the time the shutter button is pressed) as much as 3 frames per second. Equipped with an LCD is quite big, namely 2.5 in, making us the easier it is to see the photos that we perceive.

Nikon D60 Digital Camera on the body is not equipped with auto focus motor. This makes the Nikon D60 if you want to use autofocus feature, should combine with the lens type AF-S and AF-I in which the lens is equipped with autofocus motor. However NIKKOR lenses other types can still be used as usual on this camera, but because the lens in addition to AF-S and AF-I do not have the autofocus motor, then it becomes an autofocus feature can not be used on a Nikon D60.

On the inside of the lens mount Nikon D60, equipped with the latest anti-dust system. Nikon uses two kinds of ways to clean the dust on the sensor, the first by using ultrasonic wave low-pass-filter to provide a vibration so that the dust falling from the sensor, and the second technique is the Airflow Control System, which is a small internal holes reflection mirror viewfinder, so that when the glass is moving, it will produce wind caused the glass movement that would lead dust fall in the hole.

The camera is equipped with a Nikon D60's EXPEED image processor, which works to produce a maximum and better speed, noise reduction is more perfect that the use of cameras on the circumstances that require high ISO can still produce images that are relatively good and acceptable noise.

At the top of the Nikon D60 camera, there is a pop-up flash that moves electronically, so its movement is controlled by the motor. Nikon D60 camera's internal flash has a guide number 12 at ISO 100, this is equal to the internal flash contained on the Nikon D40x camera. In addition to the internal flash, the Nikon D60 is also equipped with a hot shoe for adding external flash. Hot shoe on this camera support iTTL flash metering for this type of flash SB-400, SB-600 and SB-800 Speedlight. The right side of this camera, there is help AF assist lamp, the light that helps to focus on the target object if the dark light conditions. In addition to the help of focus, the AF-assist lamp on the Nikon D60 also serves to provide a counter to count during the self-timer. Another function of the AF-assist light cameras is to help reduce red-eye effect (red eye). So if we use fitus Red-Eye on a less bright light conditions, the AF-assist lamp will light up in advance to make our eyes a little glare, after this the main flash will work as well as taking pictures.

Nikon D60 Digital Camera uses a lithium battery EN-EL9, this type is also used on the Nikon D40 and D40x. For power management on the D60 camera, battery usage a bit more extravagant than its predecessor the Nikon D40x. For D60 camera, mentioned for normal use, the battery can be used to capture images up to 500x. But this is very influential to how much usage the LCD and also internal flash. Because the more often we use the LCD to review or camera settings, the more wasteful consumption purposes batterynya. It is advisable to have a battery backup to avoid conditions that are not in want.
